Connect and set up Vendor Bridge

Easily move new hire information from Workstream to Chick-fil-A's payroll using Vendor Bridge, without entering data twice.

Connect Workstream Onboarding with your Chick-fil-A payroll system to effortlessly transfer new hires' information.

The Chick-fil-A HR/Payroll integration page is accessible in Admin View.


Step 1: Add Workstream as a vendor in Vendor Bridge

Only operators have the authority to complete this step.

  1. Go to Chick-fil-A Vendor Bridge, then select the Explore Vendors tab.

  2. Search for Workstream, then connect to the Workstream app.

Step 2: Connect to Chick-fil-A HR/Payroll

  1. Go to your Workstream account, then switch to Admin View.

  2. Go to Integrations, then select Chick-fil-A HR/Payroll.

  3. Select Connect account to authenticate, and grant access to the necessary data and set-up.

  4. The operator will need to sign in with their Chick-fil-A Okta SSO credentials.

  5. Go back to Workstream, then select Select locations ID.

  6. Select a Chick-fil-A location ID for each location in Workstream.

    Note: This lets you post job openings to Chick-fil-A, and lets you send onboarded new hires to the Chick-fil-A HR/Payroll system. Keep in mind that each location in Workstream can only be linked to one Chick-fil-A location ID.

To make sure you’re actively signed in to Chick-fil-A Vendor Bridge, check your account status. If you’re not active, simply select thethree-dot menu •••, then Re-login.

Step 3: Add the Chick-fil-A Vendor Bridge into your onboarding process

⚠️ Don’t include Workstream's Direct Deposit module in your onboarding process. The direct deposit information will be collected from your new hire’s HR/Payroll form.

  1. Go to Onboarding, then Onboarding Processes.

  2. Select the modules needed for this onboarding process:

    • Add the Form W-4 (we’ll use the information here to auto-fill the Federal Tax section in your employees’ HR/Payroll form)

    • Chick-fil-A HR/Payroll (make sure this is included last in your onboarding process)

  3. Select Continue, then review and set up the fields in each selected module.

  4. Select Continue, then set up the HR/Payroll module:

    • Set up form for hiring manager to complete: Select a list of staff members who can fill out the HR form

    • Set up the final reviewers: Select a list of staff members who can fill out the Reviewer form

  5. Select Continue, then review your onboarding process. Make sure you have the Form W-4, and keep the Chick-fil-A HR/Payroll module as the last task in your onboarding process.

  6. Select Save.

⚠️ Vendor Bridge only allows team members to be pushed into HR Payroll once. If a team member has been manually added to HR Payroll, they can’t be pushed through again via Vendor Bridge. You would need to manually mark their HR Payroll stage as Complete.
